 * You have a software bug in WPForms. Using the code to insert the form always
   produce a form line I have not asked for. It is even a different form line every
   time I upload the page.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsoftware-bug%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@poulbrath](https://wordpress.org/support/users/poulbrath/),
 * Thanks for reporting this issue! I understand you’re experiencing a bug where
   an unexpected form line is added when you embed your form. This is definitely
   unusual behavior, and I’ve not been able to reproduce the issue on my end.
 * To help us investigate and fix this issue, could you please provide one of the
   following:
    1. **URL to your form:** If possible, please share a link to the page where your
       form is embedded. This will allow me to see the extra line directly and inspect
       the code.
    2. **System Information:** If you’re unable to share a public URL, please provide
       the details from from **WPForms > Tools > System Info** ([screenshot](https://a.supportally.com/i/pYiTDC)).
       This information will help us understand your WordPress and WPForms setup, which
       can be helpful in troubleshooting.
 * Once we have this information, we can investigate further and determine the cause
   of this issue.
 * Thanks!

   this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome
   to continue the conversation.

 * It appears that the code is not working correctly in Divi Builder. I walked around
   the problem by using the code in an ordinary page instead of a block in divi
   builder. The code works in the ordinary html page.
 * I hope you can test this. I would like to avoid making the non-working web design
   again just to produce the error. Hope you understand.
 * Regards pouL

 * Hi [@poulbrath](https://wordpress.org/support/users/poulbrath/),
 * Thanks for the information!
 * I tested embedding a form in a Divi page using the WPForms module ([see screenshot](https://a.supportally.com/i/Zh48nI)),
   and it worked as expected. Here’s [a screenshot](https://a.supportally.com/i/sX5Sgc)
   of the form displayed on the front-end.
 * I also tried using the Divi Code module with the WPForms shortcode, and I still
   couldn’t reproduce the issue you’re describing.
 * Here are a few things you can try to pinpoint the problem:
    1. **Use the WPForms Module:** Double-check that you’re using the WPForms module
       in Divi to embed your form.
    2. **Update Divi and WPForms:** Make sure you’re using the latest versions of both
       Divi (currently 4.27.4: [https://www.divichangelog.com/](https://www.divichangelog.com/))
       and WPForms Lite (currently 1.9.4.2: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/#developers](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpforms-lite/#developers)).
       Outdated versions can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
    3. **Test with a Simple Divi Page:** Create a brand new, very basic Divi page and
       try embedding your form there. This helps rule out any conflicts with other
       elements on your existing page.
    4. **Check for JavaScript Errors:** Open your browser’s developer console (usually
       by pressing F12) and look for any JavaScript errors on the page where the form
       isn’t working. These errors can sometimes provide clues about the source of
       the problem.
 * If you’ve tried these steps and are still stuck, please share the following information
   so we can investigate further:
    - A screenshot or screen recording of the issue in Divi.
    - The URL of the page where the form isn’t working correctly.
    - Your WPForms System Info (found under **WPForms > Tools > System Info** in
      your WordPress dashboard).
 * All this information should help us to reproduce the issue and continue investigating
   it.
 * Thanks!
