Social widget not working on sparkling 2.0.1

hey team

After updating to the version 2.0.1 i found that there is no option under appearance > customize to set my social link and also they are not showing up in my sidebar.

However the widget text is showing up for the social widget.

I have checked this also using a fresh install of WordPress on my local WAMP test environment.
