Social Sharing : Copy link

    Hi there,

    Thank you for this nice plugin.
    I found the social sharing very pleasant but I can’t find a “no platform” option, something like “copy link to clibboard”. I would really need this feature in addition to the chosen platforms.

    Is it possible somehow ?

    Hi @wpmudev-support9,

    Thanks for your answer. I would need an additionnal icon available for the frontend, not affected to any social network but giving the possibility to copy the link of the current page/post to the clipboard. Then the user can paste this link on a forum post (like here), or to send it by Sms and so on … the same thing as copying the link from the address bar of the page, because sometime the users don’t know how to copy from the address bar.

    You can find this option on Youtube or Facebook sharing options for example.
    When you clic on “share”, the dropdown menu offers you to share with Foo app, or Bar app, or to simply copy the link (to share it somewhere else). The icon for this usually is a curved arrow.

    Thanks for response and explanation!

    Currently it’s not available in Hustle. We already have an option on a “to do” list for future to allow adding custom services (so you could add your own icons and sharing URLs) so I’ve also passed this idea over to our Hustle team.

    Thanks for your answer.
    In addition to the feature you actually have on a todo list, that would be nice if you could add a filter somewhere to make it customizable. What I need is not really a link button which open a new tab to the specified url but a button opening a box with the link inside, or a button that automatically copy the link to the clipboard of the user device, or something like that. You can find this feature on many famous websites like y*utube for instance.
