Social sharing buttons do not work in modal

I’m using buttons to share a page on social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and email). The buttons work perfectly on the actual pages/urls, but once they get loaded in a modal, the buttons don’t work anymore. All necessary data to make the buttons work is available, but once loaded in a modal, they don’t work… Any suggestions?

No console errors at all, just nothing happens when I click a share button.

Hi, I am using this plugin in Beaver Builder. It is causing an error using the beaver builder tool. Is there a fix for this?

@sarahgreenprint Can you please open your own topic as per the WordPress guidelines? I don’t need notifications about your support questions in my mailbox.

@allurewebsolutions I know because all the necessary data, like the sharing title, sharing link, sharing excerpt, etc., is present in the code. They only difference is that the modal is preventing the sharing buttons to work. I tried a different script for this, but with the same result. Works great on the actual pages, but not when they’re loaded in a modal.

@danielbenjamins Looking at the source of a single news item, it looks like there is some JS needed to make the share buttons work. That code needs to be included inside the modal-ready div.
