Social share links of pop-up not permalinks

    Hi,

    Using Achievements 3.1.

    I noticed that the Facebook and Twitter links on the achievement notification pop-ups seem to be using the default form of links (i.e. /?p=123), even when permalinks are turned on and each achievements is being correctly assigned my choice of permalink format (/%postname%/).

    Intentional. Avoids links breaking if the permalinks are changed. Page should have a canonical link in the <head> linking to the “real” URL.

    Thanks Paul, very interesting; I usually see canonical links given as the permalink URL, I presume for keyword/SEO purposes, but I can see the technical benefit of using the “real” URL instead.
