Social Settings->Description // OG:Description = Not working (6 posts)

    I have a post in which I have opted to write my own description on the Social Settings tab of AIO SEO. When I run this through the Facebook URL Debugger, it is generating its own og:description from the post content, not what I have input into the appropriate field.

    Where can I start looking to get this corrected?

  2. Hi DWhitaker,

    Can you provide the URL for the Post where you are having these issues.

    So what your saying is that the Description field in AIO SEO does NOTHING?

  6. Hi DWhitaker,

    No, what I'm saying is that the OG:Description that is displayed in the source code of that post is being picked up correctly by Facebook.

    However, you have now provided additional information which shows that the actual problem is that the description you entered in that post is not being output to the source code of that post. That's a completely different issue so in order to troubleshoot this further we'll need your administrator login.
