Social Publisher – trouble configuring

    Are there clear directions anywhere as to how to get the Social Publisher portion of the plug in to work?

    This page: https://developers.facebook.com/wordpress/ is missing many key steps. I have no clue if I did things correctly or not…There was a lot of trial and error.

    1. figuring out how to get an action approved or properly submitted is missing…
    a. including what to put for the various detailed steps is missing. I mostly made stuff up: 1. Use the facebook for wordpress app
    2. Login to website
    3. publish a post from website and it will get published to the page

    b. WHat to do with the ‘get code’ (I plugged the CURL -F into a terminal window…)

    2. What does the app do when properly working?

    I have this mostly working, but I get this error:
    Failed posting to your Facebook Timeline. Error: {“message”:”Object at URL etc. of type ‘article’ is invalid because it specifies multiple ‘og:url’ values

    The posting to my own timeline isn’t working yet (maybe since the action isn’t approved?).

    And, I would like the app to only publish to my page, not my timeline.

    Multiple og:url values is likely an issue with multiple plugins or your theme trying to output Open Graph protocol content for the page. Try passing your URLs through the Facebook URL debug tool to see these errors on your existing pages instead of after publishing a post.
