Support » Plugin: Gravitate Event Tracking » Social not tracking properly?

  • I added a custom event

    Title: Social
    Selector/Element: fusion-icon-facebook
    Category: Links
    Action: On Mouse Click / View
    Label: Social_view_{facebook}

    I must have done something wrong. I can see the on click event comping though, but it only shows as a link.

    What I am attempting to accomplish is that when someone clicks the social links in the header of the page, it will log an event that tells me they clicked on a social icon and which one.

    The inspect element for the facebook icon shows:

    a class=”fusion-social-network-icon fusion-tooltip fusion-facebook fusion-icon-facebook gtrackexternal” style=”color:#3bb3c2;” target=”_blank” href=”http://www.facebook.com/thesitesfacebook” data-placement=”bottom” data-title=”” data-toggle=”tooltip” title=”” data-original-title=”Facebook” aria-describedby=”tooltip741922″>

    Make sure your selector has the “.” in front of it.
    It should be .fusion-icon-facebook
