  • Hi Stevenbill,

Just visited your site and viewed the source. You have created child theme and on your child style you have imported the css of parent theme. That’s fine but why are you pasting the whole css in your custom css. Please remove that. Please only paste css for the new changes you like.

Hm that did the trick I guess. Though I wasn’t sure what I had changed so I just replaced my styles.css in my parent theme with the edited one. I know that’s strictly taboo but I hope it won’t screw anything else up.

Thanks for the help on this Rabin.

    Hi Stevenbill,

Don’t make changes directly on Parent theme style.css, your changes will be lost when you update the parent theme. Better make changes in you child style.css
