  • I’m trying to get my social media header to display on the right side of my header but am not having much success. This is the page I’m working on: http://goodrichresidential.com/

    Here is the css I wrote:

    #header_social {
    	width: 940px;
    	float: right;
    	margin-right: 50px;
    }

    Also, when you first load the page, the Facebook “like” button moves down a few pixels when the page completely loads. Is there a way to prevent this? In addition, the page is taking longer to load with the new social header, is there a better way to implement this cutting down on the load time?

    Thanks for any help!

    Dan

    CSS changes this specific may be better suited on a CSS specific forum.

    Your css wont work if you do not have an id=”header_social” in your html…

    Right now your social stuff is in a DIV with an inline style only:

    <div style="width: 939px; text-align:right">

    Remove the inline style, and add in the ID, then try and play with your CSS after putting it in style.css.
