I’m using Social Media Feather on http://www.colemccade.com, and even though I have it set to only show on posts, it’s still showing up on the home page below the standard template footer. It’s a photography theme that I adapted, so there’s no page or post to pull for the home page; it’s a template page, and I don’t know how to set the synved_social_exclude to “yes” in the raw code via the theme editor. I’m not sure why it’s even showing up on the home page like that, but any help resolving it would be appreciated.
It really depends on what kind of customizations you made to that theme and template. If it’s showing though I’d assume something is not being called properly as the buttons would only display while in the loop or within the context of a post.
