Social Media Description in just one Language possible

    Hello everyone,
    We use YOAST SEO to optimize our website. I noticed that only one language is possible for the social media description. Our website is available in German and English. If I set a social media description in the German version of the page, the English description is also transferred to German. If I now change the English version of the description to the English text and save it, the English description is subsequently in English, but so is the German one. Has anyone already had experience with this problem or discovered a solution?

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with setting up meta descriptions in a different language in which your website is set up. At Yoast, we recommend and support MultilingualPress and WPML multilanguage plugins as a solution for multilingual sites. These plugins are compatible to distinctively set meta information for each languages.
