    Hi,
I am trying out Bushwick for my own company. I like the look and feel, but would really like to add some widgets. And not hide them in the menu (the 3 stripey thingy one), but show them on my homepage or in the footer, like social media buttons.
Since my company is in social media that is pretty important :)

Anyone know how to do that?

  2. You have a couple of options.

One is to set up a child theme and create a new widgetized area in the theme where you want to put your new widgets.

Making a child theme means your changes won't be overwritten when you update the theme. If you're new to child themes, you can explore these guides:

Here are some resources on adding new widgetized areas to a theme:

Another alternative is to use a social-media plugin to display your buttons where you like.
