    is there a way to use custom social icons instead of the regular social icons as used by the plugin? These icons really don’t match the style of my site.

    Hi MarionFW,

    Unfortunately, at the moment there isn’t any option in the plugin settings to change the social icons. Alternatively, you could add the required code for the new social icons by editing “EWD_UFAQ_Add_Social_Media_Buttons.php” file from the “Functions” directory.

    I was wanting to do the same as MarionFW and found this post. You mention the

    So I went and found the file, opened it up and then looked for Facebook to which I found the following code:

    case ‘Facebook’:
    $ReturnString = “<li class=’rrssb-facebook’>”;
    $ReturnString .= ““;
    $ReturnString .= “<span class=’rrssb-icon’>”;
    $ReturnString .= “<svg xmlns=’; preserveAspectRatio=’xMidYMid’ width=’29’ height=’29’ viewBox=’0 0 29 29′>”;
    $ReturnString .= “<path d=’M26.4 0H2.6C1.714 0 0 1.715 0 2.6v23.8c0 .884 1.715 2.6 2.6 2.6h12.393V17.988h-3.996v-3.98h3.997v-3.062c0-3.746 2.835-5.97 6.177-5.97 1.6 0 2.444.173 2.845.226v3.792H21.18c-1.817 0-2.156.9-2.156 2.168v2.847h5.045l-.66 3.978h-4.386V29H26.4c.884 0 2.6-1.716 2.6-2.6V2.6c0-.885-1.716-2.6-2.6-2.6z'”;
    $ReturnString .= “class=’cls-2′ fill-rule=’evenodd’ />”;
    $ReturnString .= “</svg>”;
    $ReturnString .= “</span>”;
    $ReturnString .= “<span class=’rrssb-text’>facebook</span>”;
    $ReturnString .= ““;
    $ReturnString .= ““;

    I am not sure where / how I would the new icon into that. I was expecting it to be pulling some type of image file like a .jpg / .png or something I could either replace or redirect to a different link.

    Any additional information you could provide would be great.

    Unfortunately, implementing custom social icons other than the ones we’ve included is not something we’ve ever tested. Additionally, this falls into the area of plugin customization, which is out of the scope of our support. As such, while we can point you in the right direction, by letting you know what file you would need to edit, we cannot, unfortunately, provide specific guidance/instructions on how you can implement your own unique solution.
