• Hi, I’m almost completely new to WordPress and Elementor, so I apologize if the answer to this is simple. That said, I need help because I can’t wrap my head around what’s happening here.

I’m trying to include social media links at the top of my page using the ‘icon’ widget. However, only one of the links I’ve attached to the icons is working. I have four icons – for Bandcamp, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Only the Instagram icon is showing the link when I hover over/click the icon in preview.

Could this be because I moved the icons using the margin adjustments? They were a bit too spread out for my liking to begin with, so I adjusted the right margin until they were all fit closer together. If this is the problem, is there a more ‘correct’ way to move the icons that I’m not aware of?

I don’t have a head for this at all, so I would appreciate step-by-step answers if possible.

    Thank you.

Okay, so in case any other new users need help with this issue, I partly solved my problem.

I think an invisible section (maybe the divider I was using) was overlapping the icons. I increased the z-indexes on each. Then I removed the margin adjustments and put the icons in four connected icons boxes and adjusted with the sliders instead. The links now work, although I can’t figure out how on earth to align the boxes to the right of the page.

Oh well, at least this particular issue is resolved.
