social icon box not appearing on login for all users

Hi,

I have build a website for our local school using openstrap.
I have created a few different user roles.
One user role I have called teacher.
I have used the social icon box to display twitter and facebook links in the footer. When user teacher logs in, the icons disappear out of the footer. Is there a way to fix this?

Besides that, openstrap is totally awesome!
