Social graph problem with meta property article:publisher

    I’d appreciate help on this too. I’ve got the same issue.

    Google hasn’t been very friendly in respect to this issue.

    The property article:publisher is reserved for media publishers such as CNN. If you are not a verified media publisher and you use this property, you will receive a warning using Facebooks debug tool.

    Interestingly, the Yoast plugin doesn’t seem to give you an option to exclude that property. It really should.

    Here is what Yoast and hisa team says to it:

    We’ve discussed this issue with Joost himself and concluded that there’s no harm in using the article:publisher property.
    But I will create a feature-request for this, so it may be part of future releases.
