Support » Plugin: Social » Social and Disqus conflict number of posts in post meta

I’ve read that Social and Disqus do not play well together and that you have to go to the Advanced settings to hide the social comments, so that Disqus can take over the comment area.
What I noticed is that on the POST page, the meta value for num of comments is set to the num of comments tracked by Social, even when the Advanced setting is clicked to hide the comments.
On the home page, the post meta shows the num of comments is zero, because Disqus has no comments.
I suggest that in the next release, a fix be pushed so that the number of comments on both the home page and the post page match, because they currently do not.

A patch is welcome for this.
I wish I were a developer and I’d do something about it, but I’m just a lowly Product Manager, LOL. Hopefully, someone will pick this up and resolve.
