    I installed and activated plugin. I added an rss feed. I dont know where to find the content/full text. There is no widget and no short code. So do we display the content on our blog?

    1) Go to CyberSyn -> RSS/Atom Syndicator.
    2) Find your feed.
    3) Click the “Edit” button on the right.
    4) Now you should see the “Extract full articles” check box. Just enable it and save the feed settings.
    5) Pull the feed.

    Done!

    Thank you. I see that in admin But how do I get it to display on my blog? Other RSS importer shows in the appearance >> widgets and you simply add to your page or you insert shortcode anywhere. I dont see anything like that for cybersyn. Please help. I am willing to upgrade to cyberseo as soon as I get cybersyn working. tx

    ALso when i clicked “pull the selected feed” i only see a blank page in admin with the text RSS/Atom Syndicator

    That means some error has accrued during the feed syndication. Usually it happens when the server does not meet the system requirements (note https://wordpress.org/plugins/cybersyn/).

    Change the following line to your wp-config.php:

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);

    to

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

    and try to pull the feed again. You should see the error message instead the blank screen. Email it to cyberseo@cyberseo.net and I’ll take a look. Don’t forget to revert all changes you made to wp-config.php.

    Thanks. I have sent you the debug output. It didnt show anything about cybersyn

    Yes, I’ve got it. All those errors are generated by the RSS Post Importer plugin, which is written by another person.

    BTW the CyberSyn plugin does not ask you for API keys and other paid things. It extracts full text articles right out of the box and it does it absolutely for free.

    I understand. But I have disabled and deleted that RSS Post Importer plugin but still having problem. 1) When i click to pull feed, all I see is a gray page with RSS/Atom Syndicator title;
    2) How do I display the text articles extracted by your plugin on my blog? Is there a widget or shortcode? How do I get it to post unto the blog itself?

    Can I send you WP admin info to check?

    No, that plugin is not deleted, and I’ve sent you the system path to it at your server.

    1) When i click to pull feed, all I see is a gray page with RSS/Atom Syndicator title;

    Yes, that’s because RSS Post Importer generates the following errors:

    Notice: Undefined index: feeds_api_key in /system_path_to_your_site/wp-content/plugins/rss-post-importer/app/class-rss-post-importer.php on line 43

    Notice: Undefined index: og_show in /system_path_to_your_site/wp-content/plugins/rss-post-importer/app/classes/front/class-rss-pi-front.php on line 50

    Notice: Undefined index: gg_show in /system_path_to_your_site/wp-content/plugins/rss-post-importer/app/classes/front/class-rss-pi-front.php on line 56

    The only thing that I cans suggest you, is to contact the plugin’s author.

    2) There is no widget or a shortcode. The plugin pulls the feed, extracts the full text articles and generates new WordPress posts of them. These posts will be displayed at your blog in a same way as the manually-written ones.

    What does it say? Any error messages? Make sure you are importing the feed using the default settings.

    E.g. do not try to insert media attachments if there is no attachment in the feed; do not enable “video embeds” if you don’t pull a video feed; etc. Use the default settings only.

    The auto import is not working on my other blog http://www.afrotainmentTV.com. I have to manually pull the feed to get updates. what is the command to set up cron for it?

    Plugin Author CyberSEO

    (@cyberseo)

    The plugin will show you the exact command when you select cron.

    1) Implemented cron but still plugin is not pulling feeds. In short neither auto nor cron works. Only manual.

    2) Why do I see content in admin but NOT in blog itself? confused

    Plugin Author CyberSEO

    (@cyberseo)

    1) Copy-paste the URL from your cron command into the browser and open it: new posts should be added.
    2) Maybe because you set the plugin to schedule the posts for future or save them as drafts instead of publishing?
