  • Thank you The SEO Framework Team for this great plugin!
Good plugin, the most optimized among others, and on top of all it respects the security guidelines!
Although this is a review and not a support ticket, I would like to ask if there’s a way to disable the newly added Quick Edit fields support? I’m a developer so feel free to go in depth 🙂

Hello Hassãn, cool to see users notice new features so fast, the update is barely a day old. Thank you so much for a review, every one of them counts and helps.

Sybre will drop by later with a filter. I didn’t think people would instantly want to turn it off, we had plenty of requests to add it. We should add this to the docs on the website, thanks for bringing this up.

Just out of curiosity, if I may ask, have you seen the notification asking you to fill out the user survey? If not, consider giving us bit more of your time and feedback (only 5 questions, ±2 minutes). Of course, you don’t have to ツ

Thank you again for the kind words,
    Pierre.

Hello Pierre, good plugins deserve to be highlighted for others to know about and for the plugin’s team to receive a “thank you”, that’s the least of actions.

The feature itself is great, having the possibility to Quick Edit SEO can be a time saver.
However, I’m currently working on a project that already has a couple of custom quick edit fields itself, which is why I rather keep the Quick Edit fields for this particular case limited to its own custom features.

Glad to know there’s a way to do so. I’m looking forward for the updated docs.

Regarding the survey, to be honest I’m not sure I saw it, I tend to quickly read and close the notifications after plugin is installed or updated. I don’t remember if I have seen it :/
But rest assured that I will do so when I move the project to the prototyping instance, as the plugin will be reinstalled from scratch.

Thank you for your prompt response!
Keep up the good work ツ

Thank you so much for the kind review!

The quick-edit fields have a significant performance impact because of a bug in WordPress, so that’s another reason to leave it out. I found that bug as I implemented them, so everyone wins in the end–whether they want to use the fields or not 🙂

I just added the requested filter to our API > Filters documentation on our website. Cheers!

Also thanks for the information, i did not know about this bug. I will definitely take this in consideration.

Cool talking to you guys! Great experience 🙂
    Cheers!
