• Works out of the box upon activation with latest version of WordPress (June 2018).

Edit: Captions don’t work. 1-2 days after installation, my slider stopped working. I then opened my site in Microsoft Edge to test it. Just before the site loaded, I saw some Russian words appear and then disappear. Immediately uninstalled and everything looks normal right now. Hope this didn’t f*ck my site up. It is the only plugin installed besides the default Hello Dolly and Akismet.

Edit 2: 26 Jan 2020. This remains the only plugin installed on my site and so far so good. I am sorry to the developer for the earlier bad review, I honestly thought there was something wrong with the plugin.

Sorry but I find that really hard to believe. Did you even look at the code of this plugin? There’s almost nothing to it.

Thanks for getting back. Trust me, I had a shock too. What exactly happened was this. About a day or two after installation, I noticed my homepage slider was distorted. To be specific, – there were no pictures, only the left and right arrows remained. The arrows were clickable – when I clicked on them, they sort of opened up in a very compressed lightbox that showed a sprite of slider navigation images – but still no pictures. My first thought was that it was some sort of cache error. So I opened up my site in Edge and the russians words appeared (just like a link title when hovered over) for a second before my site loaded (with the same slider error). I uninstalled and it looks normal now. It’s hard for me to pinpoint anything else because it is the first plugin I’ve installed – the other 2 being the default ones I mentioned above. I do not think it’s the theme – I’m using this same theme on at least 2 other sites with no issues.

I trust you and hope to get to the bottom of this too. I have reinstalled the plugin – it remains the only one installed on my site. I can only hope what happened was some seriously weird anomaly. I will monitor this for a week and revert to my original review if everything turns out alright.
