Support » Plugin: Booking Calendar » So dissapointed and confused (New REview)

  • I have spend most of the afternoon trying to configure this app. I have a simple desire. ONE RESERVATION per day. That is it. No locations, no times, just one booking per day. This app is all over the place. There are a ton of how to videos but good luck getting it to work. I really did not want to give up on this and support did answer a few questions for me but the more I dug into it the more problems I came up with.

    I wanted to have a user choose a day and make a deposit. Then have a page were my client can see the calendar and access (from the front side) the reservation details for that day. I was unable to make that happen.

    I would love to come back and write another review where I was successful but I am afraid the only person or persons that can make this work are the people who wrote the program since they are the only ones who could understand all the variables. If you are good at reading and writing code you may be able to get this to work. But it looks like a simple easy app. It is not.

    I am back! As I promised I would. The developer was very helpful and I had a bunch of issues. Many of them I am sure seemed simple or easy but they helped me with all of my issues. As I slowly learned how to use the program things got better and better. I will admit there is a lot to learn to use this program but I was able to get it working. Or should I say I was able to learn how to work the program. It always worked I just did not understand it. I am happy to say that I not only have the system working as I need it but I was able to do some small customization’s that make the booking calendar look fantastic on my site. YES if I have another situation were I need to make reservations I will not hesitate to purchase another license for this app. My only wish is that they could incorporate Square processing into the program.

    Hello.
    For ability to have only one no per day you need to not have the timeslots field in the booking form.
    You simply need to deactivate or delete the timeslot field at the Booking > Settings > Form page (if you are using simple booking form like in the Booking Calendar Free version, you need to uncheck the checkbox at the left side near timeslot field).
    So the booking form will look like at this page https://personal.wpbookingcalendar.com/ and you can able to make one booking per day.
    That’s it.
