I am trying to create a grid like news page for my website but am so lost on setting this up. Is there any kind of video guide out there? I dont understand either of these instructions and am so frustrated.

Upload the ‘sp-news-and-widget’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.

How to enable/disable Gutenberg editor support for News Posts?

Update: I added the code to my theme function.php and think I understand “Upload the ‘sp-news-and-widget’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.”…is that just saying download the plugin and activate it?

I still cannot get this plugin to function the way I want it to look. I want it to look like this, thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching here.

Please remove the code from function.php there no need to add anything and follow the step

– Unzip our plugin and put in the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’

– Go to admin > plugins and Active it ( https://s.nimbusweb.me/share/2472008/ac1n0ploc3ninhn5acqz)

– Create a new fresh page and add shortcode [sp_news grid=”2″]

The plugin was already unzipped and activated.

The shortcode is added for my news page. The format still does not look anything like the grid example? Its not pulling the image that correlates to the news article from the feeds.

This is all its showing… (see link)

I am looking for something that pulls the same image used from the actual stories thumbnail, a brief description, and the author and date.

When clicked on the story, I want it to take them to that news outlet.

I am looking for a layout similar to this..

Please change your news page slug(https://s.nimbusweb.me/share/2476052/24h5xrlric5xrvyske1f ) OR create a new page with a different name but not ‘news’ add shortcode and then check

in our ‘how it works'( https://s.nimbusweb.me/share/2476069/1tykz9mun83lofmitl8u ) page demo link given you can see the design list and grid
