Snippet isn’t saved when an fatal error occurs

    The installation is multisite but this happend on one of my network-sites:

    I save a snippet on which I have made some new code – so there was a bug in there, which I didn’t recognize (although the syntax assistance of the snippet editor gives good advices…;-)) –> a white screen with the error description appears and I follow the instruction to get back to the snippet –> my newest edits are gone, I see the snippet as it was before editing.

    Currently we really just rely on the browser to preserve your snippet code if a fatal error occurs, though this doesn’t seem to be incredibly reliable. We are looking at implementing a revisions feature in the future which will improve this process.
