Snippet Description

Hi, Thanks for the great theme!! I have a small search engine issue. When I have the SEO plug-in on, the blog title appear twice in the top bar. I turned it off, and it fixed the problem, except now my Google description is coming up weird. So I guess I need to know one of two things: 1) how to customize my snippet description within this theme, or 2) What to do about the double title when the SEO is on.
