    I Installed Smush.it try to make a bulk optimization, and the site crashed, I got a

    ERROR 504 – GATEWAY TIMEOUT

    . And every time I try to load my site I get the same error. I erased the plugin from the FTP/WP-content/Plugins. but still getting the Error. Please help!!!!! how can I completeley remove the plugin and regain acces to my site???

    Hi @pintillo86,

    Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

    If you remove the plugin directory from the path WP-content/Plugins then it gets completely removed.

    Can you please try enabling WP_DEBUG mode? To do this, just go to wp-config.php include this:

    define('WP_DEBUG',true);

    You might already have a line for WP_DEBUG, so just make sure it’s set to true.

    For information on this, checkout this wpmu.org article.

    Let me know what more error information if any you are getting!

    You can just also disable all plugins as described on the following page and enable them one by one to know which plugin is causing the issue.
