“cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds
There was an error connecting to the image compression server. This could mean either the server is temporarily unavailable or there are connectivity issues with your internet connection. Please try later.”

    Any way to correct?

    Hi there,

this means that the compression server couldn’t be reached when trying to compress. Do you have this issue constantly?

Which service are you using? reSmush.it or Nitrosmush?

If you do always have the issue, you might want to check if you have something blocking outgoing requests, such as a firewall.

    Marc.

Hi, Aparently CSF blocks it. Do you know how I can set CSF to allow it?

I’m not sure. Which plugin is this CSF? Does it have settings to whitelist URLs?

http://nitrosmush.com/api.php and http://api.resmush.it/ are the URLs for the services.
