    Hi Folks,

    When Smush is active, WooCommerce Brands by plugin becomes inactive, and we can’t reactivate it.

    When Smuch is disabled, only then can we reactive the WooCommerce Brands plugin.

    How do I prevent this from happening?

    Hello @srd75,

    I suppose that is really a strange thing. As I do not have the plugin you mentioned on your end. It isn’t possible to try the replication. Would you mind making a few tests on your end to check things further? Make sure you have your site backed up so we do not lose anything.

    Step one: Turning ON Debug logging. Here is how you can turn on debug logging:

    Step Two: Here are step by step instructions to check the debug log and enable it too if you find the number one a bit difficult to take:

    Once you do that, kindly check if you see something in the debug log? If yes, can you send me the last 10-20 lines of the debug log?

    Step Three: Plugin conflict test. Can you take a plugin conflict test? Here is how you can do it:

    The simplest way to perform a plugin conflict test:
    * Login to your site via FTP
    * Navigate to wp-content
    * Rename the plugins folder to _plugins
    * Move the plugin folder (ex: membership) you want to test from _plugins to plugins
    * Then, one at a time, move other plugin folders over from _plugins to plugins until the symptom returns

    NOTE: While you are doing this, do not visit WP-Admin -> Plugins on your site. This will ensure that your plugins remain active when you copy them back over.

    All we need to check here is after deactivating which plugin, the option to enable the woocommerce brand’s plugin to appear or deactivating which plugin does not hamper the process of both Smush and Woo Brands plugin.

    I missed your 1st post.

    The WooCommerce Brands does not work when Smush Pro is activated.

    When Smush Pro is deactivated, WooCommerce Brands works again.
