Hello, can you provide the instruction and shortcode usage for Random Tiled Galleries for Smugmug? I have searched your website and cannot get Random Tiled Galleries to work with the RTG setting. Everything is defaulting to “tree”. Thank you.

See here: http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/smugmug/smugmug-photos/. You can add an additional parameter saying layout='random'

Thank you for your response but it’s not working in the tiled gallery. It is showing all the images in category sections instead of tiles. Each section has a category name. This is what I have.

    [gallery type='smugmug' nick_name='clientnickname' layout='random' album='Portfolio']

Here is a link to show the category titles – https://www.dropbox.com/s/bknhlyyuv791z46/2016-08-08_7-42-57.png?dl=0. The page has 4 separate categories on it instead of a combined tiled gallery.

I didn’t put the real client name in there. So if using that is incorrect, then what should I have there? This is the last piece to launch.

I cannot say without the exact shortcode what is wrong, but from the way you have written it, I suspect that you have used an incorrect album name. See the link I have provided for the right usage.

I am having the same problems and I’m pretty certain I have the code and the album correct. I have tried different variations of the code as listed on the help forums as well as other galleries and I still get no images.

    @cldphoto,
Your issue is different from the one on this thread. The original poster is able to see images, but not filter by album id. I have responded to your post on the other thread.

Well… when I used the “view” function – all of my images disappeared and it was a blank page. We decided to just upload a custom portfolio and use Jetpack’s Tiled Gallaries instead. Your demo of the Random Tiles doesn’t work either so we just decided to take another route so we could launch.

    Anita,
I see that you have marked the thread “resolved”, however I wanted to follow up on some of your comments:

Your demo of the Random Tiles doesn’t work either

Where? On the plugin’s website? I have used random tiles at multiple places there.

when I used the “view” function – all of my images disappeared and it was a blank page.

Is this in the “Visual Editor”? Or somewhere else?

I marked it resolved because I was trying to make sure no one would write their own issues on my support ticket. They really should start their own threads on here.

On this page, the Kromatique link isn’t working. It says access denied. http://aquoid.com/news/plugins/photonic/smugmug/smugmug-albums/.

Yes, I use Visual Editor when using shortcodes such as this.

OK – Kromatique doesn’t work because the owner (my brother) decided to shut the site down; it wasn’t the plugin that wasn’t working, but the owner pulled all photos out! See here: http://kromatique.com. Unfortunately for me it is hard to find one person who has multiple albums open for access that I can showcase on the site. I am not that good a photographer, or I would have used my own photos for this.
