    Hello support,
First: WP-Mailster now running very fine for over 1 year – thanks for that fantastic tool.
This week we changed our mailprovider to Microsoft365 – now there are lots of problems.
Sending doesn’t work any more – here the SMTP-server configuration:
smtp.office365.com port:587 prot:smtp secur: TLS use auth: yes
connection test during sender-configuration is positive but
sending stops after 3 errors with detail error “STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message”

    Thank you for help
    Dieter

    Hi Dieter,

since I do not have Office365 experience myself I ended up googling the problem.

As it looks like, Office365 is not a great choice for mailing lists. Why? Because they do not seem to allow emails being sent where the FROM email address is being altered.

Here is where I got this info from:
    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/54784431/unable-to-send-smtp-mails-using-office365-settings

Altering the FROM address is of course the normal setup for mailing lists (where FROM is changed from the mailing list email address to the original sender).

    So either
    – you change your mailing list settings to only use the mailing list email address as the FROM
    – use a different email provider

    Thanks.

    Hi brandtoss,
oh, that’s not the answer I wanted to read – but thanks for your googling.
So I have to switch back to the old mailprovider and forget about teams and other stuff from microsoft connected to this domain.
    Thanks for quick answer
