    Sending a test email returns this error:

    Versions:
    WordPress: 4.9.6
    WordPress MS: No
    PHP: 5.6.36
    WP Mail SMTP: 1.2.5

    Params:
    Mailer: mailgun
    Constants: No
    Api Key / Domain: Yes

    This has suddenly started to happen recently and have not had issues previously.

    There should be a Debug output that has more details about the error.

    Are you using 1.2.5? Please update to 1.3.2 – it have have some additional info for you in Email Test.
