# SMS Link Image preview – Posts

 * I just found out Apple and Google’s Messages apps are implementing an image preview
   of links printed within them. I want SMS containing an url created at wordpress
   admin backend to print the post’s image, like in a commercial message. Instead
   I’m getting my website’s logo image in all SMS messages.
 * Does anybody know how to work around this? Thanks in advance.

 * I haven’t looked specifically at the Google Messages app… but I’ll bet it’s leveraging
   the same OpenGraph data that all social media and other messaging apps use.
 * That basically means if you already have preview thumbnails working with your
   links shared on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc… it will also work with these
   rich SMS messaging apps.

 * 1) Set the proper FEATURED IMAGE in your WordPress posts and pages, as you should.
   
   2) If your theme doesn’t already support OpenGraph, use a plugin like [WordPress SEO Plugin by Yoast](http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/)
   which automatically, among other things, adds the necessary OG tags.
