SMF 2.0 WordPress 3.3 accounts

I’m using SMF 2.0.2 and WordPress 3.3.1.

1) I’ve installed SMF2WP plugin, which makes a registration bridge between these two. However, if I register an account using WordPress form, it makes only the SMF account, but no SMF forum account. If I use SMF’s form, it works right. I’d like to make this work in WordPress too.

Please tell me if there is better plugin for this.
I’m also using Pie Register plugin.

2) How to make users WordPress comments use SMF’s avatar?
