# Small Searchable Database

 * Hi. I have a project database that features some basic fields like client name,
   project title, fields for the tasks completed, contact name, and price charged.
   I am trying to find a way to recreate this in WordPress. Basically, I would want
   to create the fields I need in the database, then enable users to enter records
   using those fields, then be able to search on and display those stored records.
   I would want to search the records by the fields in the database, so client name,
   project name, etc.
 * Is there any plugin that anyone knows of to accomplish this? I’ve done several
   searches but the word “database” is not a great search term.

 * Give that a try. You can also just use a Forms plugin like Formidable Pro or 
   Gravity Forms.
 * If you want to roll your own then you can use a Custom Post Type and Post Meta
   Fields.
