    Hi

just a few small issues, with a paid for theme “the retailer” the css files optimize fine, but the theme has problems after this, not sure if the theme is not compatible or Autoptimize is not compatible

once disabling plugin theme works OK

    any ideas would be great

    thanks

can you test with each optimization method seperately; css, js & html. that way you should be able to identify where things go south. once you know that, you can look for a specific config (for css/ js at least) to work around the problem (e.g. by excluding certain css or js from being aggregated).

    hope this helps,

I did that, it seems to be an issue with css

so had to turn it off

    then it worked

    so out of ideas 🙂

    thanks

OK, next up would be trying to deduct which CSS-file is causing problems. Some questions to help that process:

    • Is the entire page style-less or are only specific blocks/ areas impacted?
    • Do you see CSS-related errors in your browser’s console?
    • When viewing the contents of the autoptimize_*.css-files, are any of them empty or do any of them give a 404-error?
