Hi, loving your plugin and everything is pretty much working aside from a couple of things that produce no effect at all, not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I doubt since everything else works like a charm.
    Here’s the list:

    1) Nav Options
Menu link font colour works, but the option for submenu doesn’t. Whatever you put in there, the colour doesn’t change.

    2) Navigation font size & weight
Nothing happens if you use those sliders. The upcase/lowcase option works perfectly instead.

    3) Header Options
The hide category works perfectly, but the hide author sadly does not

Adding a couple of links to provide examples through images 🙂

    Hi,

OK, so the first point … the sub menu link colour is for the desktop horizontal menu only. Have updated the description on this control. The sub menu link colour on the expanded / mobile menu should have been dictated by the Navigation Link Color setting which we have now fixed.

The font size and weight are for the Desktop Horizontal menu items only, not the expanded / mobile menus. Would you like us to add font size and weight controls for the menu items in the expanded / mobile menu? Or would you prefer these to reflect those in the Desktop Horizontal Menu?

On your last point, in order to prevent the author link from displaying, you need to un-tick “Author” tick box in “Customizer – Header Options – Header Post Meta”. There is no “Hide Author” option.

Just pushing an update to cover the items in your first point, please confirm that this works as required.

    Thank you,

    Oliver

Hi Oliver, thank you for the fast reply!
I can confirm the sub-menu colouring on the expanded/mobile menu works perfectly now.

For the font size/weight question I’m not sure what’s everybody’s opinion could be but personally I think having those setting separated for horizontal and expanded/mobile would allow for maximum control in our hands, so that would be my preferred choice 🙂

Concerning the hide author thing, my mistake, I just meant that I unticked the “author” option.
I re-tested it now and it doesn’t work, something changed though because I noticed a peculiar behaviour:

    • 1) Category doesn’t show (which is good, I don’t want it to show :-P)
    • 2) Whatever you tick or untick, nothing changes in the header display, personally I still get author, date and no category
    • 3) Another strange thing, whatever you tick or untick, the theme doesn’t feel like something “changed” because it doesn’t offer you the option to publish/update your changes. You know how the button on top left to “update” your changes is grayed out until you actually change something? Bingo, it stays grayed out wether you tick or untick options in that section of the Header options

OK, I’ll get new controls done for the extended / mobile menu font control as requested.

OK, I’m seeing the same behaviour now with the author issue which is weird.

Something has clearly happened to the control so I’ll look into that ASAP. Will have a fix by the end of the weekend.

    Sorry about that!!

I found some time this afternoon so I’ve pushed a version today to fix the bug you found when choosing post meta.

I’ve also added a font size control to change the size of the links in the extended / mobile menu.

With regards to the weight of the font, I think that the style would usually reflect the weight of the desktop horizontal nav bar links so I’ve just extended this control to cover all the links.

Let me know if this sorts out your problems.

    Thanks,

    Oliver
