Small black dots in sidebar next to categories, archives etc

    I’ve been messing around trying to clean up my sidebar and have screwed up somewhere and have small black circles in front of sections on the mid to lower sidebar ie starting at comments rss and going down.

    It’s probably because i left a tag unopened or moved something to the wrong place, something like that but haven’t been able to find it, despite lengthy searches.

    I’ve searched through the code, numerous times, ran it through the w3 validator and while it generated numerous errors i can’t seem to tell what’s just a “this would nice to fix this error” vs “this error is screwing up your sidebar fix it”

    any suggestions?

    This might help
    In your CSS style sheet look for this line
    #menu ul li ul li a
    add this code
    list-style-type: none;

    Hi Marjiec,

    thanks but i tried it and didn’t work. also tried firebug couldn’t figure out what went wrong.

    any other ideas?

    finally figured it out, removed parts of the sidebar bit by bit till i isolated it
