 * Is there a way to archive by month with this? What would be the best way to archive
   these?

 * Define “archive by month”. Normally, it is done by WP without your intervention,
   so I don’t get the question.

 * Sorry, I’ll work on that patience. I want to archive specific categories by month,
   not the entire blog. Does that make more sense?

 * Why? Because the WP core code doesn’t do that.
