# Slug-Shortcode not working

 * Hi,
    We have embedded a Slider with the slug short-code and it was working fine.
   After some weeks we realized that the slider had disappeared. Only when we changed
   the slug short-code for the id short-code the slider was showing up again. Do
   you have an explanation for this or advice how to prevent this in the future?

 * No changes have been made to the slug short-code so the only thing I could think
   of would be a possible conflict with a different plugin but we would need to 
   confirm that. If you can provide all the details [HERE](https://soliloquywp.com/members-area/support/)
   we can definitely take a look and investigate the specific reason for this.
