# Slug is always empty

 * I find a strange issue. The slug fields for all blogs, whether published or not,
   are always empty, as below:

 * Thanks for sharing the URL. I ran the URL through [Google’s rich result test tool](https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Farticles?id=OLaeiPu87Msbdu56ZcxmNw)
   and I can confirm that the slug is in there. [See screenshot](https://pasteboard.co/Zo1sC4v8j06o.png).
   Be assured that the blank slug field might be an esthetic issue.
 * Also, we have had similar reports where it’s because of an outdated third-party
   plugin. First, can you confirm that your other plugins are updated to their latest
   versions?
