Slows down the users page extremely

    Hi,

    After activating the plugin (which i really want to use), the users page gets really slow. 500 Users are normally loading in just 2 seconds, but after activating the plugin it takes more then 65 seconds. Even when i set the Users page to 10 users per page, it still takes a couple of seconds.

    I already reactivated and reinstalled the plugin but that doesn’t help.

    I have 15 plugins installed. A couple of these are: WP Last Login, Register Plus Redux, BackWPup and Advanced Custom Fields. The other plugins have nothing to do with the Users page.

    Do you have “Disable Gravatar and use only local avatars” checked? If not, the way my plugin works is that it’ll check if each of your users have an uploaded Gravatar image. After checking, the information is cached, but it can be slow because of server location, number of users, etc. If you don’t need the connection to Gravatar, I’d suggest disabling it and seeing if that improves the loading time.

    Thanks for your fast response! Disabling Gravatar solved the problem! You made me happy and i’m going to try out the plugin right now 🙂
