Slowing site down

Hi there, when I have css and js enabled it actually slows down responsiveness and rendering.

If just html is enabled then it speeds things up but then this is not supposed to work this way, is it?

When js and css are enabled it takes longer to “catch”. At the moment I have it enbled but with jss and css unchecked.

Any advise would be great.
