• Not here to report any bugs. I appreciate the plugin. Just for testing, I enabled it on my SiteGround GoGeek plan and it slowed down the site for sure. SiteGround also has the SG Optimizer/SuperCacher which uses memcached. Anyway, just thought I would mention if it helps your development or others.

  • Well, of course memcached backend for object caching is faster than file/disk-based one 🙂 The purpose of this plugin is to have object caching on low-end web hosts where memcached, Redis, and other in-memory backends aren’t available.
    So yes, this plugin will always be slower than in-memory alternatives, it’s by design/purpose.
