• My website is horribly slow!

    Currently using
    Divi theme builder Version 3.25.4
    WP version 5.3
    PHP Version 7.2

Currently using the Basic WP Hosting From GoDaddy
    30GB Storage
Ideal for 25k monthly traffic (i get around 100-200)
    Basic SSL
    Shared Hosting (No dedicated CPU)

    Current Plugins
Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster V 1.3.5.2
Google Analytics Dashboard for WP V 5.3.10
    Gravitate Event Tracking V 1.5.3
    Gravity Forms V 2.4.15
    Lazy Load XT V 0.5.3
    ShortPixel Image Optimizer V 4.15.2
    Sucuri Security V 1.8.22
    Updraft Plus V 1.16.21
    Yoast SEO V 12.7.1

When testing mobile load times i often get 6-9 second. Horrible. I have used GT metrix and Google Page Speed Insights to trya nd help me figure out what the isssues were and it seems that I have a high “Reduce server response times (TTFB).”

Divi seems to be causing a lot of the issue looking at the reports. Saying things like “it is a render blocking resource” and “Defer parsing JavaScript to reduce blocking of page rendering” (with divi being the cause)

If my site simply running slow because i need more bandwidth? i.e. my own hosting CPU and not shared, along with more SSD storage?

Render blocking resources have nothing to do with TTFB issues, which are caused by “heavy” themes and plugins. Your theme is in this category, as is at least one of your plugins. What happens to your TTFB if you switch to one of the WP-supplied “twenty” themes, and deactivate Gravity Forms?

If TTFB is greatly reduced, then you have some decisions to make. If TTFB is still high, then the issue may be with your hosting plan. FYI, GoDaddy’s 25K number is for TOTAL visits/month. It’s quite small…
