# Slow Updates

 * Have been using NextGen for a few days however now, when I update a gallery description
   for example, it does not show on the website straight away.
 * It can take an hour for the change to show.
    Any ideas what would cause this?
 * General WP content changes are fine.

   likely due to caching, have you tried going under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous…
   and clicking on the clear image cache button?
 * Our next release will have an additional `wp-config.php` option to change this“
   timer” to a lower value than the current default of 60 minutes.
