# Slow to save

 * Hello,
 * I built a mock course with three modules. In the back end it seems to take 42-
   45 sec. to save any changes within a module or unit. It takes about 60 sec to
   delete a module.
 * When I took the course for a test drive, logged in as a student, it took 20-30
   seconds to save my answers to a quiz and thus complete a module.
 * Is there anything I can do on my end to dramatically increase these save times,
   especially on the front end? Thanx

 * This definitely doesn’t sound right.
 * Can you please let me know if you’re using a lot of additional plugins and also
   does this happen when you try to deactivate all other plugins aside from CoursePress.

 * Hi Bojan,
 * Thanks for following up We have 13 total plugins including Coursepress and Marketpress.
   I deactivated 7 (including Marketpress and 3 others that would be needed in any
   event) just to see the effect. Other plugins need to stay active for security
   and functionality. Unfortunately, the same lag times in back/front end when I
   deactivated the 7 plugins.
