# Slow Redirect

 * When I type elainebossik.com into the address field of my browser and hit enter,
   it takes a long time to redirect to and load
    The site only loads quickly when
   I type into the address field of my browser and hit enter. There appears to be
   a redirect problem.
 * I’ve tried turning plugins off and on to isolate the slow redirect problem, which
   started when I upgraded the site to WordPress 5.3. The site is also on the latest
   version of PHP and only uses the following plugins:
 * Akismet Anti-Spam
    All In One SEO Pack Classic Editor Contact Form 7 Genesis 
   Responsive Slider W3 Total Cache Wordfence Security WP Customer Reviews
 * The site runs on the Studiopress theme, Outreach Pro, and the Genesis Framework.

 * Was the site created (by WordPress) without the www domain?

 * I created the site with the www. prefix for the domain.
 * Prior to upgrading to WordPress 5.3, the native redirect from non-www. to the
   www. version of the website was fast. Now, it’s slow and I’ve been unable to 
   determine the reason.
 * As you can see, I use very few plugins and I only use the most reliable plugins.
