Slow post save and update

Is there some setting that I might still not have just right, as when I save or update a post it takes forever to complete and sometimes even times out. This is driving me crazy as I have several posts that I need to update.

I’ve disabled the Cache Assets in the Advanced tab, but it makes no difference with regards to the speed of saving a post. It’s exactly the same enabled as disabled. Once disabled, the post saves and updates immediately.

Any ideas? Right now I’m having to disable the plugin in order to do maintenance on my site.
