# Slow Performance

 * Since updating to the latest version of YOAST, performance while authoring articles
   became miserably slow. I’ve disabled the plugin for now. Is there a way to stop
   this real-time SEO analysis that is slowing me down? If not, can someone recommend
   another SEO plugin that will not destroy my authoring time?

 * I have the same problem or much worse. Yoast SEO is freezing my browsers(Chrome
   and Firefox). It is very annoying. I can’t edit my posts.

 * I’ve uninstalled this plugin and switched to WP Meta SEO. It was the only way
   I could figure out how to resolve the speed issue.
