It isn’t uncommon to see that the mobile load times are slower than desktop as mobile devices tend to be on slower connections and have slower overall performance.
You might try running your site through a tool like PageSpeed Insights:

to discover more detailed opportunities for optimization. One thing I noticed was that you are using a 3.6 MB GIF for one of your article images which loads on each main page load. Swapping the GIF will likely help with the overall speed of your site.
